AUSTIN DENISON SHOEMAKER, M. D.. b. Aug. 1, 1826, granduated A.B., 1845, and became a physician at Wilkesbarre; went to Honolulu.
That is all the information I have on Dr. Shoemaker, except for finding him in the 1850 US Census, age 23, living with the Dewit Warner family in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, PA.
His family line is: Eltweed Pomeroy, Medad Pomeroy, Ebenezer Pomeroy, John SR Pomeroy, John JR Pomeroy, Cynthia Pomeroy married Dr. Sereno Edwards Dwight, Martha Dwight married Austin Dennison, Mary Denison married Judge Charles D Shoemaker, and Dr. Austin Denison Shoemaker.
We'll appreciate any help in learning more about Dr. Shoemaker. Thanks!
