Thomas Shoemaker ca. 1750 Pennsylvania

I am working on an article about Thomas Livezey (1723-1790) and trying to find information about Thomas Shoemaker who sold him a grist mill (actually a merhcant mill) near Germantown in 1747. I found one Thomas Shoemaker who marries a Mary Shoemaker on Liz Simitz Buzby's posting. This Thomas was born 1762 and I've confirmed that date using another genealogy map. Obviously he is born after the mill was sold and might be the son of the Thomas Shoemaker who sold the mill to Livezey.

This earlier Thomas Shoemaker does not seem to exist at least he appears to outside the bloodline that begins with George Shoemaker both in Germany and arriving here. Can anyone help me locate any information about the earlier Thomas? Was he Thomas, Sr. to this likley Thomas, Jr.?
