Thank you ; Linda Durham for your reply !
I have good news - yesterday i was visiting with an older
(even older then me) member of the family- she was having one of the better days (alzimers is terrible) and recalled having some printed "notes" of past generations-- grand pa. Milton was son of Jacob and Pheobe Crandal son of elijah & Minerva Baker & next was Benjamin SCHOONMAKER(DUTCH)&Elizabeth Depuy ; next was Hendrich & Heyltze Gerritse Decker; next was Jocheim&Elise Jansz Vanbreestede. She even had a "record of a "shoemaker" tree in book form made up by a Mr William m.Shoemaker of Gladwyne Pa. at that time ; if I could locate him WOW!!
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION !
Fred Berry
