Saw the Shoemake question. My great Aunt Johnnie Smith married Mitch P. Shoemake. It traces back Miles W. Shoemake (b.1865) and Patrick being brothers. Patrick is Floyd T.'s grandfather. I found the same information as you in the 1910 Smith County Census. But I also found him in the Akron, Summit Co., Ohio Social Security records and yes he was married. You mentioned him having a child.Well I have been getting emails from a lady in California. Her
father in law is William Joel Shoemake, son of Floyd's. For some reason Floyd T. gave him up for adoption when he was a baby and his adopted name is William Joel Hunt. She is trying to find siblings for him.
