Info on Carl Shoaf, Winston-Salem, NC Died in 1970's

Hello, I'm looking for any information on a Carl Shoaf who died sometime in the 70s. He was a bit notorious, in and out of jail a few times, beginning with a bank robbery in 1935. I believe he was born in 1910 or 1914, but I could be wrong on either date. Any leads on existing family members or the date he died, would be appreciated! -Karen
