Adam Shoaff from Neshannock Tnsp / Lawrence County PA

I am related to Adam Shoaff, who married a woman named Comfort Bay in the 1800s. I have not been able to identify who his parents. I keep thinking that he may be the child of Peter and Catherine (Mink) Shoaff, but I have found nothing that links the Adam Shoaff with anyone. I see that Adam is listed in the 1840 and 1880 PA Census with other Shoaffs (Jacob and Peter). I would be extremely grateful if anyone could provide me with any information. THANKS.
