KENNETH FREDERICK SHIVELY October 14, 1921 - December 24, 2004 Kenneth F. Shively, 83, passed away on Christmas Eve in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., with his companion of 9 years, Phyllis James, at his side. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 54 years, Lila Lorraine, who passed away in 1994, and his sister, Mary Eugenia Wolfe, in 1992. Ken was owner and operator of Shively Tile Co., Hayward, Calif., retired after 55 years in the business, member of ROJ, Knight Of, Order of Quetzalcoati, Past Comaxti Yerba Buena Teocalli #13, Kachina Klub, Aahmes Shrine Temple, Past Commodore Shrine Yacht Club, Masons Acacia Lodge #243, Elks Lodge #2399, a veteran World War II, U.S. Navy, United States LST Assoc., Bluebird Wanderlodge Assoc., and Vintage Birds. He enjoyed traveling in his R.V. Beloved father of five children: Kenneth Shively (Barbara) of Castro Valley, Calif.; Rollin Shively (Barbara) of Grass Valley; Barbara Smith (Dale) of Oakley, Calif.; Lila Spjut (Steve) of Grass Valley, Calif.; Nancy Walker of Marysville, Calif. Cherished by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Ken will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, January 7, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Jess C. Spencer Mortuary, 21228 Redwood Rd., Castro Valley, Calif. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Shriners Childrens Hospital, Hospice, or American Lung Association.
