I am looking for information on John C. Shively, son of John L.B. Shively of Daviess County, Kentucky. John was born about 1832 in Kentucky. He married Juliet Westerfield on December 15, 1852 in Ohio County, Kentucky. At the beginning of the Civil War he joined the 3rd Cavalry Kentucky and died of typhoid fever in Bowling Green on September 29, 1862. He and Juliet were married for ten years but there seem to be no living children when she married her second husband. Does anyone know of other children? And does anyone know where he was buried? Thank you.
