Hi John,
Just saw you post of 8-17-99 and wonder if your
offer still holds up? It was about those two ill-
fated boats containing the Shively, Hardin, Harding,
Robinson, Payne and other families on their journey to
Ky.
I have read the book and parts of it made my hair
stand straight up!
Like you I have been unable to connect to the Jacob
Shively. I know he was killed by the Indians and left no
decendants,but I would love to know where he fit in.
I have traced my family back to Thomas Harding and
the Payne's so natually I am very interested in the
other families. I also descend from Jacob Shively and
Sophia Davis who married in Green Co.,KY. I have a small
amount of info. on Jacob Shively's family and would be
glad to share. Look forward to hearing from you or any-
one that can help me. Thanks!
