I just discovered this site and saw your message about Albert Shively, son of Walter & Emma Shively. Albert Shively was my fathers brother (my uncle) and I knew him well. I dont know who Bessie, William, or Alice Shively are at this point. I know Albert was married but until 1937. My uncle would have been 17 when your mother was born. I would like to share further information. Albert Lewis Shively was born July 20 1917 in Portsmouth Ohio. Walter & Emma Shively lived on Rt 52 just west of Portsmouth. The house is gone now but it was next to a white church that is still there. (I saw it last week)
