Jacob W. was my ggg gf. There is also a daughter Ada J., b. c1869. Mary Alina, d/o Jacob was my line. She married Sylvester Kennedy of Butler, Butler county PA. She died either at the time of the birth of their daughter Mary Helen or shortly thereafter. Sylvester remarried Theo Belle Price of Blair county on November 06, 1889 . Mary Helen was then adopted by Franklin and Irene Baker. My gm had the adoption paper and it was handed down to me by my father. The info on Mary Helen I have was obtained from a Delayed or Corrected Birth Certificate, filed March 22, 1943 in Huntingdon county, PA. Mary Alina Shively Kennedy was 24 yrs. old at the time of the birth of Mary Helen. Samuel D., of Jacob and Mary, signed the corrected certificate and listed his residence as Tyrone RD#2. That could be either in Blair or Huntingdon county. Sylvester and Mary Alina had a total of 5 children. Two were living at the time of the birth of Mary Helen and two were deceased. I believe that Jacob had a brother David, age 42 in the 1870 census and a farmer in West twp., Huntingdon county.
I cannot locate Jacob after the 1870 census. Have you had any luck?
Look forward to hearing from you.
