George Shively, b.~1758, Loudoun, VA
Searching for where George Shively moved to after he left Virginia.
His father is Jacob Shively. Jacob moved to Loudoun County, VA around 1765. (This part of Loudoun became part of Fairfax Co. in 1798.) Jacob appears in the tax rolls until 1802. He is missing for a year, is back in 1803, and then is never seen from again.

RB Lee sold George a black child, about four years old in 1791, for one shilling, named Isaac. We've speculated that this may have been his child. Last mention of Shively in the Lee family letters is December 1803, then he is never mentioned again. Lee replaced him in 1804.
