Trying to find information about William M. Shirkey who was married to Amanda Hawse Shirkey. Married 1894 in VA. Among their children was Edna Frances Shirkey Edwards who lived in Keezeltown VA (Rockingham Co) Am really stuck trying to find any information. I understand that they were German or possibly French. Any information most appreciated.
