I am looking for information on Christian Shirk born approx. 1802 and buried in Cumberland county. Christian was married to Anna or Ann (B: 1805 or 06) Shirk. The names of their children should be:
Ann (B: 1829), Sarah R. (B: 1831), Isaac (B: 1836 Buried in Cedar Grove, Chambersburg, PA), Jacob G (B: 1840), David (B: 1842), Soloman (B: 1846).
Jacob G (B: 1840)and Rachel (Frehn) Shirk (B: 1842) had 8 children. Their names in order of birth were: Sarah Rebeca, David Meridith (B;1-14-1865), Jacob G (B: Sept 1868), Mary Alice, Albert Frehn, Bessi Ann (Anna Elizabeth?), Benton O (Benjamin O?), and Arubelle or Arabella (B: 5-15-1875 D: 9-1-1875).
My grandfather, Alonzo David Shirk, lived in Abilene, KS and was the only child of David Meridith (B: 1-14-1865, Franklin County, Chamberburg,PA) and Belle Orilla (Phillips) Shirk (B: 9-9-1872, Belmont Co., Bethesda, Ohio).
