After three years, I'm still searching for the parents of William SHIRK (b. 1879). William "Will or Willie" married Lillian SWANIGAN (my paternal great grandparents)and resided in Kenton, Ohio. He was said to have resided there his entire life. Lillian died in her 40's from a stroke. Marriage certificate states that William was married prior to Lillian and was a widower. It also list his parents as Cyrus and Nettie SHIRK, however, his death certificate states his parents were Sy and Catherine SHIRK. The family settled in Union County, Ohio after moving from West Virginia. Can anyone help?
