Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to let everyone know that The Shirer Family Genealogy Project has been entirely updated. The promised changes have been made and there is a ton of new data for all surnames, but especially Shirer, Shirar, Decker and Cummins/Cummings. There has been some minor changes to the look to help readability but it still behaves in the same
way it did, easy access to a wealth of data.
You can find out more about why I made the changes at the site under a link called "What's New." This was only the first phase of changes. I am still working on some others but I wanted to get the new data on
as soon as I could. It was a long process and now maybe I will have time to get back into some serious research.
One thing that has slowed down a bit is the Surname page. There is only one and there are a lot of new names, over 1500 at last count. I plan on breaking this into many pages in the near future so until then, it is a little slow. Once you have loaded the entire page, it should stay in your browsers cache unless you clear that from time to time. Next time
you access it it will load faster.
