William Grymes/Grimes d. bef. 14 Feb 1782 in Caroline Co., VA

From Caroline Co., VA, Court Orders, 1781 - 1785 (abstracted and compiled by Sparacio, Ruth and Sam;, "Caroline County, Virginia Order Book Abstracts, 1781 - 1783,” Antient Press):

"p. 40 [14 Feb 1782] -- The Last Will & Testament of William Grymes was proved by one witness & ordered to be recorded. On motion of Ann Grymes, Executrux therein named, who took the Oath prescribed by Law, Certificate is granted her for obtaining a Probate thereof. Bond acknowledged & ordered to be recorded.
-- Ordered that Robert Wright, Thomas Reynolds, George Robinson and Richard Ship or any three of them, being first sworn, appraise the Estate of William Grymes, deced., according to Law."

Aside from living in same Parish of Caroline Co., VA, it is likely that Robert Wright, Thomas Reynolds, George Robinson and Richard Ship were also related in some way with this William Grimes or his wife, Ann.

I am currently working on the hypothesis that Thomas Reynolds was descended from the marriage of John Reynolds to Sarah Grimes on 5 Aug 05, 1674 in North Farnham Parish, Old Rappahannock Co., VA.

I would be glad to learn if any researcher has established a linkage with or lineage of the family of this William Grimes?
