There is a lot of Cherokee bloodlines in the marriages of the SHIPMAN men. However I can`t find any of them with a daughter named Mary Jane born in Missouri in 1863. There were Anderson Daughters that married Shipman men in Missouri. And there was one Brown dau that married into the Shipman line; Lucinda Frances Brown was given her mother's maiden name. Her mother was Martha Brown. (My Dad , John David Samuel Shipman told me Lucinda's father was Chief Lightfoot, a Cherokee Indian Chief. Martha Brown was 16 when she had Lucinda.) Author Unknown.
