Do you mean Peter SHIPLEY's son Uriah SHIPLEY, who owned land by 1750, & died testate 7 Sep. 1805, Frederick Co., MD? Shipleys of MD, 2002, says Uriah was also called Uri & Ury. His will left "Horse Pasture" to his youngest son Elijah, named daughters Ann, Sophia, & Ketura, and heirs of his eldest son Peter.
