I have always felt that John Shingleton was a brother to William Shingleton of Harrison/Taylor Co, Va - but I have no proof. William also had a brother John who lived in this area. I have no idea who their parents may have been. I think I've read somewhere that there was a Thomas Shingleton in the area.
