I am researching the Shingleton name as it pertains to my wife's Martin lineage. Olive Shingleton born July 24, 1828 Bridgeport, West Virginia, the daughter of Jeremiah Shingleton and Elizabeth Bennet. Olive married John A. Martin October 7, 1845 Taylor County, WV. She had three children: William E. Martin, Sarah E. Martin and Aurelius C. Martin. Olive died July 26, 1851 in Wood County, WV and is buried in the Middleville Baptist Cemetery, Taylor County, WV. [between Grafton and Bridgeport] I am looking for information about Olive's parents.
