Albert Preston Shine was my grandfather. I was born at their homestead on the house that is still standing and occupied. I was back there early this year and took pictures of the house. All the outbuildings are gone now. When I was 12 or so, the barn burned along with the horse drawn U.S. Mail carriage that he used as a mailman. There were mail compartments in the carriage that he used to sort the mail as the horse made it's way. Unfortunately it burned with the barn.
Looking forward to exchanging with you.
