Albert Preston Shine was my grandfather. I was born at their homestead on the house that is still standing and occupied. I was back there early this year and took pictures of the house. All the outbuildings are gone now. When I was 12 or so, the barn burned along with the horse drawn U.S. Mail carriage that he used as a mailman. There were mail compartments in the carriage that he used to sort the mail as the horse made it's way. Unfortunately it burned with the barn.
