George Arthur Shiffer was born on June 5, 1893 in Juniata Co., PA. He married Florence DuBois, where and when I do not know. His parents were William Shiffer and Lovina Gahres. He had 5 brothers, Edward, John, William Jr., Daniel and Emanuel and 1 sister, Cora, married to George Willow. George Arthur died on January 31, 1935 in Barry Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA and is buried in the Church of God cemetery in Weishample, Schuylkill Co., PA. I do not know when Florence died or where she is buried. She was born November 12, 1907. They had 3 children. William Arthur, born April 7, 1927 and died December 17, 1981. He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg, PA. Mabel Edna was born May 23, 1928 and Edward Franklin was born September 28, 1930.
