Hi Timothy, good to hear from you. Do you still live in Ireland? I am coming over to Northern Ireland sometime in April. I have first cousins there. It will be a quick trip beause I have to check out relatives in Southern Scotland as well.
I am not related to you but my husband is.
I have a Nicholas Shire (abt.1748) who married Ann
Their son Jacob (1767-1827) married Elizabeth and their son Jacob william married Mary and their son was William Henry Shire (1828-1900)
this Man would have been Rebecca's half brother I believe
Nicholas (1748) and Ann have another son Nicholas who marries Ann Fitch and they have a son Bamlet who marries Eliz Coe.
