Seeking information on 4th child Henry Shew b 14 Oct 1809 married Margaret Stata. Was a Patriot in War of 1837-1838 War of the Windmills in Canada. Captured,was sent to Tasmania Van Diemans Land Australia and held as a Prisoner. Released Sept 1845 returned to America aboard Nantucket Whaler Young Eagle. 1852 may be in US home of sister Mary Shew Ford (Philip Ford)Wilna NY then disappears from records.
Wife Margaret Stata, remarried while Henry Shew was in Australia. Henry & Margaret may have had 2 children. Can anyone identify Margaret Stata, or the children? Seeking information on Henry Shew, residence and death.
