Joel Shew married Anne Stone in Wilkes County, NC on 1 Jan 1824. (She was a daughter of William Stone, born abt 1750 in VA and died abt 1825 in NC, and his wife Sarah ____, born about 1750.) An IN researcher said her name was Anna Popham, but I have nothing further on that.

I am sending you directly information on Joel's descendants, and burial information on several of them.
