Hey cousin Judy,
I spoke with James' grandaughter again and she said that she is sending me some information to her brether , who lives near me. He called yesterday and said it had arrived, so I am going over to visit with him Saturday. Maybe he will remember some things too. I will let you know what I find out. Last weekend I went over and found where James' and Lewis Day's farms were. I accidentally stumbled onto the cemetery where all of James' family is buried. That was pretty interesting. I am hoping to get to go to Izard county next Friday and find where Boston's land was. I also am planning to go to the courthouse to see what I can find out about Boston and the Battles. I found the land patents for Boston and Francis Battles. On the topo map there is a small cemetery very close to Boston's land. Do you think that is where he is? I will look.I will get back with you next week.
