Just some more info to add to the puzzle. There is a "William B. 'Boston' Shew" and he is my g.grandfather b. 12 JAN 1852 and d. 24 SEPT. 1945 in Fannin Co., Texas. Buried in Dial Cemetary, just south of Honey Grove, TX. His wife "Mary Ann Hale Shew" b. 27 MAR 1851 and d. 10 FEB 1945 is buried beside him. They had many children, but I don't have all their names right here with me at this time. Their daughter (my grandmother) Bertha Shew was born in the Ozark Mountains, AR (Izard Co.) on 7 OCT 1892 and d. 31 DEC 1985 in Lamar Co. TX. Bertha is also buried in the Dial Cemetary here in TX, as well as my father and others. (Fannin and Lamar Counites are adjacent). As told many times by my grandmother, she came to Texas when she was about four years old and crossed the Red River in a covered wagon. Bertha married L.S. Williams on 3 DEC 1911 in Pecan Gap, TX. My William B. Shew may not be one of the connections you're looking at, but just wanted to let you know. Thanks, Kristi Williams Britt, Bells, TX.
