I think we have a bingo. Last night I was able to talk to Jame's grandaughter. She told me that his father was from Alabama, and that his name was John, whose wife's name was Mary. She is looking through her papers, but told me that she had seen the name Boston in them somewhere. Her memory is still pretty good, she mentioned her grandfather talking about a place in Alabama called Blue Pond. Another coincidence, I have worked with James' ggrandaughter for almost 23 y3ars. Thanks for all of your help.
