Hi Judy,
I was not aware of the Izard county connection. You have probably read my query about James Shew in Marion County at the turn of the century. I have not found out any information on him but this is just too much of a coincidence. I live in Baxter county, which is touching Marion on it's west and Izard on it's east. Mary Shew Day, and Deborah Shew Day are buried in Marion County, about 3 miles from my house. I just can't figure out how where James came from.
