Jane, the most recent evidence is that Thomas & his wife lived at Kettlebaston near Ipswich before they emigrated in 1634. There were several Sherwood families living in that part of Suffolk, and just over the border in Essex, so it is probable that Thomas was baptised in one of those counties.
