The marriage of Rachel Sherman and Increase Allen was reported in Frank J. Doherty's THE SETTLERS OF BEEKMEN PATENT, Vol. II, p. 134. "A Rachel Allen is recorded in Dartmouth VR as havibg died 10 April 1731 age 73. Children are all recorded in the Dartmouth Vital Records" (Doherty.

I wonder whether Rachel was married once before she married Increase and whether Sherman was her single name.

It looks as if Rachel and Increase Allen are my ancestors.
