looking for James sherman family;
James b/1813 Columbus County Ohio Usa
married Jane Lafferre b/1817 Ohio USA date: 23 Mar 1836
James died june 2 1894 Kansas
He lived in Versalles, brown county Illinois in 1860

Margaret Sherman married ? Thrasher
Eli Sherman
Hirman Sherman
H A Sherman
Anna Sherman
Matthew Sherman
Their Daughter Rebecca Sherman was not on the 1860 census with the family as she had Married Robert McCarty in Indiana Vigo County. She is on the Robert McCarty census in Cass County Beardstown Illinois USA
Rebecca died around 1861/62
The Sherman's took in some of the McCarty children to live with them when Robert was killed in civil War around 1865
Ross McCarty', Wm McCarty, Robert McCarty Jr.
We are also looking for Nancy Ann McCarty who was a step daughter of Rebecca and is not listed with the Sherman's in the 1870 census So wondering where she went in 1861/62 after Rebecca Died.
Any information on any of these would be very appreciated
