I do not know if a John Henry Schermann would be in my line. My gg grandfather Fredrick William Schermann & wife Emma came to the U.S. in the 1800's. I don't know if he had any brothers. I don't have any family contacts to get any more info from. Their children were: Fredrick Christopher, Otto, William (Bill), Helen, & Mary. Fredrick C. was my g grandfather. I don't know anything about the other children & their families.
Fredrick C. married (1st wife unknown) had 2 children Queenie & Raymond. They did not use the Schermann name after the divorce. (2nd wife Emilie Bertha Mund, my line) their Children were Fredrick William Otto Schermann & Dorothy Melrea Lillian Schermann.
Fredrick W.C. was married 6 times & had a son Christopher Lynn Schermann. I do not know his wereabouts (possibly Florida) or if he still uses the Schermann name. All the others are deceased. Dorothy was my grandmother, She married Daniel Thomas Amer Beaty. Fredrick W. & Emma settled in South Bend, Indiana. Fred C. died in Laporte, IN.
