We have been trying to see if my mother-in-law knows anything more, but she doesn't seem to. Her parents were fairly old when they married, so I don't think she ever knew any of the older generation.
We will probably be in Gurteen in a few weeks and maybe can ask around and see if any of her cousins or her sister know more.
