Hi Batty.
Your Sherlock family also came West from Kildare following the Transplantation in 1653. They have been living in Gurteen area for nearly 200 years just a short distance from our Sherlock's .I have other information which might be of interest to you so you can request my e-mail address and I can let you have more details. Most of the Sherlock's have some connection .I have been researching the family for a number of years and they are all over Ireland, England and in America ,Australia and New Zealand.
