Researching Sherlock family of Ireland. I know part of the family comes from Kinnegad & Castletown (Geogehan)WestMeath & I've also heard stories that they are originally from Cork,Ireland. My grandfather claimed that an anscestor was the "Lord Mayor" ? Here is my family:

Castletown,Geogehan West Meath
(3)John Joseph Sherlock b. 1870 Kinnegad
West Meath. Moved to Chicago & then CA.
m. Marie Wiegers b. 1880 Canada
