I am seeking information on Abner and Charity Sheridan. Their daughter, Asenath Sheridan was born 15 September 1826 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She married Isaac Mendenhall on 18 September 1848. She died 19 March 1893 in Rush Co., Kansas. Her obituary identified her parents as Abner and Charity. My research suggests that Abner was born ca 1790 in North Carolina. He appears to have been in Indiana by the 1830 census. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
