My name is Donald N. Sherard, I reside in Wheatland, Wyoming.
My lineage is: James Sherard and Nancy Cornelison Sherard- John Sherard and Judith Martz Sherard- George Washington Sherard and Nancy Perry Sherard- Nelson H. Sherard and Adella C. Hubbs Sherard. Nelson and Adella were my parents.
I visited the Courthouse in Hamilton, Ohio and obtained a copy of Samuel Sherard's will and inventory of his estate. I obtained the same information concerning James Sherard in Missouri.
My wife and I visited the Sherard Mansion at Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England some years ago.
Do you know anything about a James Sherard (name spelled various ways) a soldier who served under General Washington at Valley Forge?
