TX in 1846/ (5) James A. b. ca 1847 (6) Sarah b. ca 1850 (7) John b. ca 1852 (8) Martha b. ca 1854 (9) Susan b. 12/24/1857
Found on Cherokee Co. TX census in 1850 and 1860/
Son Thomas killed Civil War 1862
Son Dillard m. Eliza Galiger in Cherokee Co.
Dtr. Mary m. W.C. Walters of Hood Co. bef. 1860
1870 family moved to Hood Co. where I.D., Sarah, sons James and John and dtr. Sarah died within days of each other, probably of typhoid contracted on trip; all bur. Acton Cemetery near Granbury, Hood Co. TX
Dtr. Susan raised by sister Mary Walters, m. G.R. Moore 12/19/78--/She is my great-grandmother.
Anybody out there have a line on Dillard, Elizabeth, and/or Martha?
UPDATE: Found Dillard in OK but still need info on his family and where he is buried. Also found Elizabeth. That just leaves Martha--am wondering if she actually came to Texas.
