Is anyone drawing up the Shepperd Family tree?
William Francis Strudwick m. Martha Shepperd, dau. of Jacob Shepperd and sister of the Revolutionary patriot Col. William Shepperd.
Mary Booker m. William Shepperd and her sister Amy m. Col. John Webb, both moved to N.C. after the Revolution. This is not our Col. William Shepperd but the Webbs were very close

I'm descended from Major Egbert Shepperd and Sara Ware.and Col. William Shepperd and Elizabeth Haywood.
