William,
I think we have 2 different Georges. Mine was born in 1833 in Illinois to Issac and Amelia and he had a sister named Ann Eliza that was my g-g-g grandmother. His Grandfather Henry was the Sheppard that left Cumberland "went west and died there".. I have George on censuses from 1860 through 1910. He married Julie E ? and had at least one child, a daughter named Mida V. It gets so confusing trying to find one person when there are so many named the same. But I do agree somewhere in there a bunch of us are related. LOL I have some scans from the book about the Fenwick colony and there is a lot of info about the Shepperd generations and who they married and begat. I would be glad to email them to you if you would like.
