Can anyone verify that Chancy Clark married to Jane Shepherd and had children among whom were Edna Amelia Clark and Handy Clark? Chancy then married to Betsy Feathers a neighbor with whom he had more children. Edna Amelia Clark married about 1853 to Thomas Stanton Gardner. Did they have a child named Jane? Thomas Gardner and wife Edna Amelia moved west to Cerro Gordo County IA. Their childred were: Mary Marie, Harriet, George and Clara. Any help greatly appreciated.
