Iam trying to find a connection Between the Pace and
Shepherd families of Fluvanna co .va
I belong to the Pace Society and someone has come across
a deed which mentions Samuel Smithson and Ann , his wife
John Pace and Nanny , his wife,William Lilley and Elizabeth
his wife and Lawrence Shepherd and Ann, his wife
to Samuel Hardesty dated 13 Nov. 1795.
The deed is for 530 acre on Baallenger's Creed.
The above named John Pace and Nanny are my gr-great
Grandparents.
It is my understanding from other Shepherd posters
that Lawrence Jr. Shepherd b. abt. 1794 in Fluvanna Co Va
married a Nancy Pace b. abt.1800.They were married
in Frankfort, Ross county,Ohio and both were buried
there.
looking for any descendents of Lawrence Shepherd
and Nancy Pace.
