I know much has been posted on William Sheppard/Shepherd,(my g,g,g,g,grandfather) and for the most part HIS info matches with what I have. Born Jan 1755, or '56, Dan River N.C., and died in Upson County, GA around 1838.
I see accounts of his 3 marriages, and (I think) I have seen all of the postings of the names of his children.

Now my problem, I don't see his son Lewis, born 1800 in South Carolina, died 1887, Upson County. (who it seems, would have been born to William and Elvira, hence the name and d.o.b.) Does anyone have any records of Lewis and his wife Martha Ann (Griggers)?

Am I way off? Any help would be appreciated.
