In the 1930 census on South Quaker Lane in West Hartford, CT., were Grace C. Shepard ( nee Johnson ), a widow, 40 yrs. of age, living with her children: Edwin Frederick ( 14 ) and Dorothy G. (12). They were all born in CT. as were their parents. I'm trying to find out the name of the deceased father of these children and his family origins. Can anyone help?
