I think I understand what you're trying to say. I have some ideas from research about my Shelton lines. I have tried to research from a geografical and time frame idea.Did our ancestors not inter marry alot of times, and that could possibly help us determine what lines we should be looking for? I have found some other relatives who were Sheltons but I don't know if or how they tie into the one Shelton I am desperately trying to find. How can I get in touch with Sheltons who have been tested from dna to see what they have that might help me? I had my relative dna tested on Familytree dna (not Shelton lines) so my results are there as well as dna.I have looked into the Shelton project homepage for familytree dna but can't seem to get a response for joining it or trying to get some idea to whom I can contact. Any ideas?
