The name Isham Shelton was unusual, but I don't believe they are the same two men. My Isham was married to Viola Ann Shroyer, they were the parents of Mary E Shelton. After their marriage they lived in Illinois, but you are free to write me at my email so we can compare notes to see if there's a connection. Mary E Shelton was born in 1842.
