I am trying to find my Shelton line. I have only been able to find out that Henry 'Clarence' Shelton's parent died and he was raised by family. He did not like to talk about it, so no other information is available. His first wife's name was Lillie Godsey.
Does anybody have family that took in some children? I suspect that he has a brother named Peter from census records. I also think that he may have come from Longview, Ashley, Arkansas.
I am hopeful!!!
