I am looking for the parents of Jeremiah, or Jeremiah A, or Jerry Shelton, who was born 22 Mar 1823 in Tennessee, and died 1873 in Texas. I find him in 1850 and 1860 in Comanche country in the Pedernales Settlements of Texas. In 1880 he is in Madison County, TX. Apparently he married Elizabeth Lacritia McDonald and after her death married Delphi, or Delphia Colbath.
His children reportedly were:
Lucretia Shelton (Born: 1842)
Lacritia Shelton (Born: 1844)
Elizabeth Shelton (Born: 1845)
Artemisa Shelton (Born: 1847)
Georgiann Shelton (Born: 1857)
William Shelton (Born: 1860)
Marion Shelton (Born: 1868)
Shepherd Shelton (Born: 1873)
